DEC Webinar – The IDD Toolkit: Tools to Enhance Health Care for Adults with IDD

Please join us on Wednesday, August 5th at 12:00 PM EST for a Standards & Guidelines webinar: “The IDD Toolkit: Tools to Enhance Health Care for Adults with IDD”. ASL Interpretation and automated captioning will be provided.

Many clinicians receive little or no training in caring for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Janet Shouse, BJ, will present an overview of the IDD Toolkit↗, a free online resource to help health care clinicians provide better care to adults with IDD. The Toolkit, which is based on Canadian consensus guidelines on the primary care of adults with IDD, offers easy-to-use guidance and checklists for clinicians, as well as several resources for patients with IDD and their families or support persons.
